Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information MEMP ("we", "our", or "us") may collect and how it is used when you access the MEMP Bot, website, and related services. Information is handled for service operation, account linking, security, support, and maintenance. By using the Services, you acknowledge that information may be processed as described in this Policy.

Data Collection Scope What We Store

MEMP collects and processes information used to sign users in, link Discord accounts, verify server access, maintain progress, and operate its features. Depending on the features you use, this may include Discord IDs, usernames, avatars, email addresses you authorize through Discord, server and role information, activity metrics, economy balances, command history, and transaction or support records. MEMP does not ask users to provide Discord passwords, private messages, payment-card details, bank credentials, or government identification through the Bot. Please do not submit sensitive information through commands or support channels.

Sensitive Information Protocol Zero Storage

MEMP Bot is not designed to collect or store passwords, payment-card numbers, bank account credentials, or government-issued identification documents. Payments, where offered, are handled by the relevant third-party payment provider; MEMP does not need your full payment credentials to provide in-service benefits. Do not send such information to MEMP through Discord, support tickets, or any other channel.

Data Utilization Internal Use

MEMP uses information to operate and maintain the Services, preserve balances and progress, enforce cooldowns, verify authorized transactions, respond to support requests, prevent abuse and fraud, investigate technical issues, and protect service integrity. Limited technical or usage data may also be processed to monitor performance, diagnose errors, and improve reliability. MEMP does not sell personal information or use it to build advertising profiles for targeted advertising.

Third-Party Disclosure Confidentiality

MEMP does not sell or rent user data. Information may be processed or shared when reasonably necessary to provide and protect the Services, including with Discord and service providers that support hosting, authentication, security, analytics, or technical operations. Such providers may handle information under their own terms and privacy practices. Information may also be disclosed in response to valid legal requests or when necessary to investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or threats to users or the Services.

Data Security & Retention Safeguards

MEMP uses administrative, technical, and operational safeguards intended to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or loss. No online service or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and MEMP cannot promise that every incident will be prevented. Information may be retained for as long as needed to operate the Services, maintain account and transaction records, investigate abuse, resolve support issues, preserve backup integrity, and protect service security. Retention periods may vary by data type and operational need.

Children's Privacy COPPA Compliance

MEMP is intended for users who meet Discord's minimum age requirements in their region. MEMP does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children who are not permitted to use the Services. If you believe a child has provided personal information to MEMP, contact us through the official support channel so we can review the request and take appropriate action.

Policy Amendments Notifications

MEMP may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to its features, operations, security practices, or service providers. The revised version will be posted on this page, and significant changes may also be announced through official server channels. The updated Policy applies from the date it is posted unless a different effective date is stated. Continued use of the Services after an update indicates that you acknowledge the revised Policy.

Data Deletion User Rights

Removing MEMP Bot from a server stops its access to that server but does not automatically erase all information previously stored by MEMP. To request deletion of data associated with your account, submit a request through the official MEMP support channel; we may ask for information needed to verify the account and identify the relevant records. Some records may be retained when needed for security, fraud prevention, transaction history, dispute resolution, backups, or ongoing service operations, and deletion from backups may take additional time.
